How can I find out what homes in my area have sold for? - property value reassessment

I have fallen for a re-registration in California as the property values. To submit a revised application I have two comparable sales in support of my value judgments. How do I know, I know what houses in my area were sold? There are very few houses actually sold. Thank you for your help.
